Goodwin Education Center. The education center is open Thursday-Sunday from 9am-4pm until May 31, 2015. It will be closed on all holidays to include December 25 and 26, 2014.

Final Supplementary Rules - On April 28, 2014 the Final Supplementary Rules for Public Lands Managed by the Carrizo Plain National Monument were published in the Federal Register.
Painted Rock Self-Guided tour season has started. Reservations are required and must be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 or TDD 1-877-833-6777. (Reservations can not be made at or by contacting the Goodwin Education Center)
