A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Road Section Closed

This map shows the Chimney Peak Back Country Byway located in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Tulare County, California.  It shows the Byway and the section of it that is closed because the road is washed out.  The map cannot be made Section 508 compliant. The road is closed between Rockhouse Basin Trailhead and Chimney Peak. The closed road is washed out and impassibleThe road is open from the Lamont Meadows turnoff to the Rockhouse Basin Trailhead.
