King Range National Conservation Area- Fire Restrictions

Fire Restrictions: None

Campfire permits are still required for campfires and stoves used outside developed campsites.  Backcountry permits also act as a California campfire permit and can be accessed at the BLM Arcata Field Office, King Range Project Office, and all trailheads throughout the King Range NCA.

"Even though we've had rain, people still need to be careful with fire," said Tim Jones, Fire Management Officer for the BLM in Arcata.  "Fires should never be used on windy days, and it is imperative that campers fully extinguish campfires before leaving a campsite."
