Effective Tuesday October 23, 2012 for the King Range National Conservation Area.

With cool, moist weather taking hold on the North Coast, fire restrictions are lifted. This means that campfires can be used outside of developed campgrounds and recreation sites, such as the Lost Coast Trail. Campfire permits are required and can be obtained at any trailhead or King Range Project Office.
