Property Descrition:
The Modoc County WMA covers 2,141,254 acres in Modoc County, California, within the Alturas Field Office boundary. 147,250 of these acres are public lands managed by the BLM. The vast majority of this land is Juniper and Sagebrush rangeland. Developed facilities at the West Valley and Centerville Fire Stations are also part of the Modoc County Weed Management Area (WMA).

2011 Modoc County BLM Property Weed Inventory:
9,510 acres of BLM land were inventoried for noxious weeds in Modoc County during the 2011 field season. Below is a summary of the weed sites found and treated.
