Distribution: Mono County, CA; Mineral County, NV
Habitat: On rocky slopes in pinyon-juniper communities at elevations of 6500-8500 feet (2100-2800 m).
Flowering Period: June-July
Similar Plants: Streptanthus oliganthus is often confused with S. cordatus. Streptanthus oliganthus however, has stems that are more stout and leafy at heights of 15-60 inches (40-150 cm) Status: BLM Sensitive, California Native Plant Society List 1B
