Description: Succulent perennial herb 4 to 8 inches (10 to 20 cm) tall with a compactly arranged basal rosette. Basal leaves 3/8 to 1 1/4 inch (10 to 33 mm) long, widest just below tip. Flowering stalk 1 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches ( 3 to 9 cm) tall, 10 to 58 flowers. Flowers cream-colored, united into a tube at base.

Distribution: Southern Klamath Ranges in Shasta and Trinity Counties.

Habitat: Rock outcrops, gravel, and scree in mixed-conifer/canyon live oak forest or chaparral. So far found on granitic, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock types. Elevation ranges from 960 to 6200 feet (300 to 1900 m).

Flowering Period: June to July

Similar Plants: There are several species of Sedum in northwestern California that closely resemble one another, so further research and consultation is required to verify.
