Description: Evergreen shrub, less than 3.3 feet (10dm) tall, with soft hairs. Leaves dull, 1/8 - 1 3/4 inches (4-45mm) long, spear-shaped or triangular shaped, with rounded corners at base, and attached directly to stem. Inflorescence is a raceme, 3/8 - 1 1/2 inches (1-4cm) long. Flowers contain 5 cream-colored petals, 1/8 inch (3-4mm) long, and stamens 1/8 - 5/16 inches (4-7.5mm) long.
Distribution:
Habitat: Sandy washes, dunes, canyons, and Mojavean desert scrub. Elevation 832 - 4624 feet.
Flowering Period: Blooms May - September.
