Description: Many branched, erect annual (3dm high). Plant parts are glandular and grayish in color with linear leaves (5-15mm long), that are covered in a waxy film. Flowers grow in a loose spike cluster. Corolla is a pale lavender color (10-15mm long), and is covered with dense, short hairs.
Distribution: Alkaline meadows of the Amargosa River region of Inyo County, CA. Also known from Nye and Esmeralda Counties of Nevada.
Habitat: Salt encrusted clay soils and moist alkali meadows. Elevation 200-2500ft. Associated with other salt loving species.
Flowering Period: June to October
