Description: Annual herb with very small hairs, 1 - 5 feet (3-15dm) tall. Leaves linear, 3/8 - 1 1/2 inches (1-4cm) long. Inflorescence is a 5-8 loosely flowered head. Corolla is yellowish, 5/8 - 3/4 inches (1.5-2cm) long. Seeds are 1/16 inch (1.5-2mm) long, egg-shaped and dark brown.

Distribution:

Habitat: Dunes. Elevation 3.2 - 688 feet.

Flowering Period: Blooms May - October.
