Description: Annual plant with hairy, prostrate stems, forming mats.  Leaf blades are ovate, 1/8 to 3/8 inch (4 to 10 mm) long, hairy with acute tips.  Staminate flowers ae white.  Fruit less than 1/8 inch (2 mm) long.

Distribution: Tehama County, restricted to the westside of the valley.

Habitat: Dry stream beds, outcrops, dry gravelly and grassy slopes and flats, and roadsides, at elevations from 85 to 1800 feet (25 to 550 meters).

Flowering Period: May to October
