Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites public comment on grant applications for the State of California, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division's 2007 Grant program. The State of California provides funding through its grant program to help improve or mitigate off-highway vehicle activities in California. The draft grant applications listed below encompass approximately 50 projects, ranging from facility development to restoration work proposed throughout BLM's 16 field offices.

The components of the 2007 Grant application package are:

• Cover Page - includes office information and includes all projects proposed within the office application
• Press Release - provides contact information and timeframes for public involvement
• Description and Accomplishment - text document that describes all projects currently being considered, and accomplishments from previous grant projects
• Project, Cost, and Deliverables (PCD) - cost breakdowns for specific projects from the Description section

Public comments received by close of business July 21, 2006, will be included with the application submitted to the State of California. Public comments may be submitted either in writing or electronically to the local BLM office contact provided in the Press Release for each application.
