Anderson sworn in as Redding Field Office manager

Steve Anderson, the new field manager for the Redding Field Office, received the oath of office from State Director Mike Pool during a brief ceremony on the banks of Clear Creek Thursday, May 13. Prior to the ceremony, Clear Creek stakeholders led a tour of restoration efforts for Mike and Associate State Director Jim Abbot.

(Above) Placement of tree trunks, complete with root wads, was just one of the restoration tools used to restore Clear Creek's ability to support salmon spawning. The trees are anchored in place and direct the stream flow . The roots also provide shelter for small fish.
