Law Enforcement Ranger
Barstow Field Office

"I enjoy hunting and fishing for anything and everything as long as its edible."

Brian is originally from Amherst, Ohio and is currently a resident of Helendale, California.  Brian works out of the Barstow Field Office and has for about the last six years.  He came to the Bureau of Land Management with a degree in Fish and Wildlife Management and in Law Enforcement.  His education seems to have been tailored specifically for his current position.  Brian received his degree at Hocking College in Ohio.

Prior to coming to the Bureau of Land Management Brian worked for the National Park Service for 10 years and he is a veteran of the United States Army.  At one point Brian became a Field Training Officer for new rangers with the BLM.  He finds this to be one of his most interesting accomplishments at BLM.

When not on duty Brian really enjoys bass fishing as well as hunting.  "I enjoy hunting and fishing for anything and everything as long as its edible."  Good luck to you Brian and stay safe.
