Bessie Hayes plays an important role making sure credit card expenses, travel vouchers, collections and paychecks are accurate and complete.  With an associates degree in business and vast experience, Bessie applies her skills and education, keeping the often tight budget on track. 

Bessie began as the office receptionist 12 years ago.  She was promoted to management assistant and then fiscal assistant before achieveing her current position as the budget technician. 

Bessie has two daughters, Brittany and Jessica, and her son, Joshua.  When she is looking to relax, she enjoys playing videos with her mom, playing bingo and sewing.

Bessie says she likes Barstow despite the heat and sand in the summer and wouldn't live anywhere else.
