BLM CORRAL OFFICE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

Public access to the Bureau of Land Management's wild horse and burro corrals near Litchfield will be temporarily closed during office repair work and construction of a new hay storage barn.

Wranglers will continue to work at the facility preparing animals for adoption, but the corral administrative staff will be working from the BLM's Eagle Lake Field Office in Susanville while the work is underway.

"We will be checking voice messages frequently and continuing to set up adoption appointments," said Wild Horse and Burro Program Manager KC Pasero. "We apologize for any inconvenience. We are working diligently to complete the work and get the office re-opened."

More information is available from the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office at (530) 257-0456.
