BLM WILL COMPLETE REPAVING PROJECT AT SAMOA DUNES PARKING AREA

The Bureau of Land Management's Arcata Field Office has announced an upcoming repaving project at the parking area at the Samoa Dunes Off Highway Staging Area near Humboldt Bay west of Eureka.

The parking area along Bunker Road will be closed while work is underway on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 15 and 16. Parking will be available nearby along Jetty Road.

BLM manages the 300-acre Samoa Dunes Recreation Area for a variety of uses including off highway vehicle riding, surfing, beach visits and wildlife watching.
