When:  Saturday, September 29, beginning at 9 a.m.

Add:  There are many great photo opportunities.  Whole families participate in work projects-trail maintenance, weed chopping, seed collection, painting picnic tables and habitat restoration.   At noon everyone takes part in a free barbecue lunch and is entertained by live music.  There are free T-shirts and posters, wagon rides, nature arts and crafts and face painting.  Check out our web site:  http://www.ca.blm.gov/hollister/npld.html

Editors:  Looking for a great story about the environment?  How about pictures of children?

Local volunteers who care about the land?  Or just a good time Saturday?  We have it all for you.  We invite your coverage.  Work parties from 9 a.m..  The fun begins at noon.
