BLM To Hold OHV Grant Public Meetings
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management will be asking for public input on its grant applications for Off-Highway Vehicle management, in upcoming public meetings in Ukiah and Clearlake.
The meetings will take place Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the BLM Ukiah Field Office, 2550 North State St,, Ukiah, and Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Clearlake City Council Chambers, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake. Both meetings will be held from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
The BLM is applying for grant funds to help with operations and maintenance at the South Cow Mountain and Knoxville off highway vehicle recreation areas.
The State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division provides operation and maintenance funding for local, state and federal agencies through the off-highway vehicle registration, or "Green Sticker", program. Comments of support, non-support, or comments general in nature are being sought.
