Kennedy Meadows Community Meeting

There will be a community meeting in Kennedy Meadows on Saturday, September 30, to talk about rehabilitation of the area burned by the Manter Fire.  Members of the Burned Area Emergency Rehabilitation (BAER) Team will talk about what is being done and what else is being planned.

Forest Service and BLM members of the team have developed a plan to restore damaged lands and control erosion.  The team has been listening to the concerns of the community while putting together this plan, and this is an opportunity for local residents to get some answers.

The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kennedy Meadows General Store.
