These data are public information and may be used and interpreted by organizations, agencies, units of government, or others. The accuracy of the attributes is estimated to be 90 % correct. This is based on visual examination both on the screen and in check plots, and through actual use of the data set
Polygon and chain-node topology present.
These data were aggregated out of several separate coverages and shapefiles from BLM CA Field Offices into one state-wide BLM California Wild and Scenic River coverage. This was done using standard work station ArcInfo coverage editing methods to ensure polygon topology, and attribute label consistency
These data have no intentional omissions, generalizations, or selection criteria to create a subset of the entire data.
This is estimated to be that of a 1:100,000 quadrangle, + /- 120 feet, and is based on the source materials integrated into this product.
The data were gathered from the BLM CA Field Offices. A coverage data design was developed. The data sets were then combined into one coverage data set. Edits were then done to produce an accurate unified coverage data set of BLM wsrpca in California.
