DOI-BLM-CA-D070-2014-0048DNAEnergy and MineralsOrmesa LLC submitted three geothermal sundry notices (GSN-670-14-37, GSN-670-14-38 and GSN-670-14-39) for the expressed purpose of performing Coiled Tubing Cleanouts at Injection Wells 85-12, 44A-7RD and 56-7RD. The cleanouts for each well will involve the use of a 6in flow line from the well heads, portable centrifugal pumps and 10 clean brine storage tanks connected with equalizing manifolds. Installing approximately 210ft of 8in carbon steel piping, and ten pipe-supports within the GEM facility. The pipe supports will be spaced approximately every 20ft and will be 18in to 20in width and no more than 8ft deep. The purpose of the proposed construction is to divert excess geothermal fluid for temporary storage in the GEM pond for injection at a later time. The only long-term new ground disturbance will be the ten pipe supports. The clean out process would involve pressure tests treating lines to 5000 PSI for 5 minutes, as wells pressure testing lubricators and wellheads to 300 psi. Clean outs will be done by swabbing up and performing continuous pressure tests. Once flow is flow is considered clean, rig will be moved out of well pads. This project is within the Ormesa LLC Geothermal Lease CA-964, and all standard stipulations specified in permit, including Special Provisions, Plan of Operations and Reclamation Plan apply.East Mesa, Imperial County, CAEfe Erukanure
