Directions to the Holding Facilities
The temporary holding facility for the first portion of the wild burro gather will be at Meers Points on the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. 
Driving Directions from Yuma, Arizona
Take Highway 95 north approximately 25 miles to Martinez Lake Road (mm 46 ½).
Turn left onto Martinez Lake Road and go approximately 10 miles.
Turn left onto Red Cloud Mine Road. Follow the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge signs approximately 4 miles.
Turn left onto Meers Point Road which is right before you go through the barbed wire fence onto Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. 
Proceed approximately 1 mile to the temporary holding facility in the Meers Point Recreation Area.  
The temporary holding facility for the latter portion of the wild burro gather will be at the quarry by Hart Mine just south of the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge.
Driving Directions from Yuma, Arizona
Take Interstate 8 west to Ogilby Road, exit 159
Turn right on Ogilby Road and go approximately 25 miles
Turn right on CA-78 and go approximately 24 miles to the Colorado River/Cibola Refuge turn off sign and turn right onto the north side of the canal.
Follow the gravel road to the levee and turn left on the levee and then turn right and go over the Cibola Bridge (there will be a sign that has a right arrow to Cibola Refuge).
Turn right at the stop sign and follow the paved road. At the Cibola Office sign, veer left. Do NOT go straight and proceed on the dirt road into Cibola Refuge land.
Turn right at the stop sign onto River Road.
Continue past Cibola Refuge Office and continue 7.4 miles. (It will turn into a dirt road.)
Turn right at the Cibola Lake sign. Do NOT proceed on the road that says “Dead End”.
The holding facility will be on your left approximately 1/10th of a mile.
 
Driving Directions from Blythe, California
Take Interstate 10 west to CA-78/Neighbours Blvd., exit 236 towards Brawley
Turn left onto CA-78/S Neighbours Blvd/1-10 Bl. and follow for 7 miles
Turn right onto CA-78/28th Avenue for 3 miles
Turn left onto CA-78S Rannells Blvd. for 2 miles
Turn right onto CA-78/32nd Avenue and continue for 4.5 miles to Palo Verde, CA
Proceed approximately 2.7 miles south of the Wheelie’s Gas Station to the Colorado River/Cibola Refuge turn off sign and turn left onto the north side of the canal.
