BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SITE: The recreational area is approximately 50 acres in size, flat, open with large gravel beaches providing access to the reservoir. FACILITIES PROVIDED: Two restrooms with flush toilets, outdoor showers and drinking water are available for use. Boat ramp available nearby; small watercraft can be launched from shore. FEATURES: OHV riding opportunities, fishing, camping, watchable wildlife, watercraft recreation, swimming, hiking opportunities, solitude and sightseeing. FEES / PERMITS REQUIRED: The fee is $10 per vehicle for day-use, $15 per vehicle for overnight use, or $75 annually per vehicle for up to 5 people per vehicle. There will be a $1 per person fee charged for each person over the 5 person limit. Visitors must pay daily fees at self-registration fee pipes located at the site or at the BLM Yuma Field Office located at 2555 E. Gila Ridge Road in Yuma. Annual permits are currently available for purchase at the Yuma Field Office. LIMITATIONS: Maximum stay is 14 days in any 28 day period. Trash collection is not provided. Visitors must pack out their own trash to dumpsters at South Mesa or Senator Wash Boat Ramp. OHV use is limited to existing roads and trails. Please Tread Lightly.
