Empire Landing Campground

Description
Empire Landing Campground is equipped with RV and tent camp sites, picnic tables, BBQ grills, drinking water, toilets, and hot showers. The campground also has an RV dump station and electrical hook-ups. The sandy beach area provides access to those wishing to fish or swim in the Colorado River. Two site hosts are on duty at the recreation site year-round to provide visitor service and information.
 
Location
The campground is situated on the California-side of the Colorado River along the Parker Dam Road Back Country Byway.
 
Access
Empire Landing is located about seven miles south of the Parker Dam on the California side of the Colorado River. Look for the BLM sign.

Camping, boating, water sports, swimming beach, fishing, off-highway vehicle travel, auto-touring.

Permits, Fees, Limitations
The fees to camp at Empire Landing Campground include: $15 per night for RV and tent sites; $30 per night for RV site with water/electric hookups; and $5 to use the dump station. The showers are coin operated. The America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes (formerly Golden Age/Access) are accepted at this site. Stays are limited to 14- days in a 28-day period.
 
Accessibility
The campground has three accessible restroom facilities with flushing toilets, sinks, and hot showers.

First Aid
There are no medical facilities on site. Dial 911 (will get San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office) for emergencies. The nearest medical facilities are in Parker, Arizona.
 
Additional Information
The facility was constructed in the 1970s, and has been upgraded with improvements using over $3 million in federal grants since 2002. Ongoing landscaping, tent site improvement and sidewalk trails will complete the project.
