How to get Involved

Public Involvement in the resource planning process is essential in determining important issues which will influence the final project area plan.

The Yuma RMP team anticipates conducting a number of community outreach meetings to ensure that concerns of the public are addressed by the final plan. Watch this page for dates, times and locations of upcoming public meetings.

Public comments are accepted at any time, but to be most useful to the planning process, your input should be submitted during the designated timeframe. Your first opportunity to submit your issues, thoughts, and ideas is during the "scoping" period which started March 30, 2004 and ends June 30, 2004. The RMP Schedule displays future opportunities to be involved in the planning process.
