Invitation to attend American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Project Ground-Breaking to Benefit Hells Canyon

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Phoenix District cordially invites you to a ground-breaking ceremony for a public lands trails improvement project funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act).
 
Friday, November 13 – 10:00 a.m. (ceremony)
 
11:00 a.m. Hiking Tour #1 (2 miles)
11:00 a.m. Hiking Tour #2 (8 miles)
 
Meet Arizona’s youth & young adults hired under the Recovery Act to build America’s trails!
 
Get a guided hiking tour by the BLM staff of the Hells Canyon Wilderness to view the lands recently acquired from The Wilderness Land Trust that now make the wilderness whole.
 
Refreshments will be provided.
