Table Mesa Recreation Area Management Plan Public Meetings |

The following meetings have been held to present information and receive input on the Table Mesa Recreation Plan. Meeting dates are linked to the pertinent minutes. Handouts or information from the meetings are also provided: February 17, 2009 - Core Strategy Team Meeting #3 - Approximately 47 people joined us at Deer Valley Center. Participants provided additional proposals for consideration and a process timeline was provided for the Table Mesa Recreation Plan. February 3, 2009 – Core Strategy Team Meeting #2 - Approximately 73 people joined us at Deer Valley Center. Updated Draft Conceptual Maps were discussed and participants provided their proposals for consideration. Both maps have the same information; however, one map includes "emphasis areas" to explain in which areas different user activities might take place. In addition, information was presented regarding desert tortoise habitat management and Resource Management Plan (RMP) guidance. Handouts from February 3, 2009, meeting:
January 20, 2009 – Core Strategy Team Meeting #1 - Approx 25 people joined us at Deer Valley Senior Center. Two draft conceptual maps were viewed for comments and feedback. Both maps have the same information; however, one map includes "emphasis areas" to explain in which areas different user activities might take place. Stakeholders were asked to review the maps and provide their input at the next core strategy team meeting (February 3rd) for improving the draft concepts. November 20, 2008 – Public Meeting - Approx 60 people joined us at the Anthem Community Center. November 18, 2008 – Public Meeting - Approx 140 people joined us at Deer Valley Senior Center.
