Current National Weather Service Forecast

Aravaipa Canyon receives about ten inches of rain a year, mostly falling in July and August. Recent precipitation will dictate streamflow and depth of the creek. Visit the U.S. Geological Survey's website to get real-time streamflow. Call the BLM Safford Field Office or Ranger Stations for current stream conditions.

When is the best time to hike Aravaipa?
