The data described below has been modified to show Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Class lands that are to be available for disposal through the Lake Havasu Field Office Resource Management Plan (2007).

This data set contains areas identified for Recreation and Public Purposes from the US Bureau of Land Management's LR2000 Case Recordation database, and geocoded (mapped) using Geographic Coordinate Database.

Purpose:
To identify lands for recreation and public purposes in the areas of interest.  For regional analysis and display at 1:100000.  This dataset was prepared/acquired for use in the Lake Havasu Field Office Resource Management Plan.

Supplemental information:
Dataset locally known as disposal_R&PP.shp.  This dataset and other datasets in the Lake Havasu Field Office Geographic Information Database represent data for the BLM Lake Havasu Field Office.

Accuracy of the individual points contained within the GCDB were adjusted using both compass rule and a least squares analysis, which examines the geometry of PLSS parcels in relation to the coordinate values of known locations for control points within the PLSS grid.  Each individual point carries a reliability factor indicating the relative error ellipse in both northing and easting which is reported after the least squares analysis is completed.
