Soil, Water, and Air Program
STAFF

The employees of the Soil, Water, and Air Program are highly-skilled physical scientists able to meet the unique challenges of working in Alaska. There is currently one core employee in each of four field offices and a program lead stationed at the State Office in Anchorage. Kato Howard, with the BLM's Alaska Fire Service, helps coordinate air quality and smoke management issues. In addition, several other employees around the state, receive program funds and contribute directly, or through support and management services, to program accomplishments.
