The BLM Anchorage Field Office is amending the Ring of Fire Resource Management Plan to address the 730-acre Campbell Tract Facility administrative site and Special Recreation Management Area in Anchorage, Alaska. The site is currently managed under the 1988 Management Plan for Public Use and Resource Management on the Bureau of Land Management Campbell Tract Facility.
The BLM invites you to participate in the Campbell Tract planning process. Your input will help the BLM develop a plan to guide management of the Campbell Tract Facility for the next 10 years.
Public Participation
The BLM held a 30-day public scoping period in 2010, which included an Open House at the BLM Campbell Creek Science Center. During this scoping period, the BLM received many public comments about the resources and management of the Campbell Tract Facility.
This webpage will be updated periodically to keep you informed of the progress of this planning effort.
