Northeast NPR-A Draft Supplemental IAP/EIS

Cover of Northeast NPR-A Draft Supplemental IAP/EIS cover, August 2007In a December 4, 2006 Notice of Intent in the Federal Register, BLM announced its intention to prepare a supplement to the Northeast National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska Amended Integrated Activity Plan/Environmental Impact Statement.  On August 24, 2007, a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register announced the availability for review and comment of the  Northeast NPR-A Draft Supplemental IAP/EIS.  A second notice published on October 12, 2007 extended the comment period.  BLM issued a news release and a newsletter related to the release of the Draft Supplemental IAP/EIS.

The comment period ended November 6, 2007.  A Final Supplemental IAP/EIS is anticipated by May, 2008.
