Record of Decision and Approved Management Plan
The Bureau of Land Management released the Record of Decision for the Kobuk-Seward Peninsula Resource Management Plan (RMP) on September 4, 2008. A Notice of Availability appeared the same day in the Federal Register. The Kobuk-Seward Peninsula Approved RMP is essentially the same as Alternative D in the Proposed RMP/Final EIS. Online versions of the Record of Decision and Approved RMP are available on this Web site. The document will also be available in paper copy or on CD at the BLM Alaska State Office in Anchorage, the Fairbanks District Office, and the Nome Field Station while supplies last. Proposed RMP/ Final EIS
The Proposed Resource Management Plan / Final Environmental Impact Statement was released on September 28, 2007 in coordination with the Environmental Protection Agency's publication of a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register. This action initiated a 30-day protest period and a 60-day Governor's consistency review. An on-line version of the document is available on this Web site.
Draft RMP/EIS
The Draft Resource Management Plan / Environmental Impact Statement was released on May 5, 2006, and is available for on-line viewing.
