BLM-WISE Youth Hikes

The BLM Glennallen Field Office and Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment (WISE) have partnered to conduct hikes for youth. Each hike includes basic outdoor skill lessons and promotes a healthy active lifestyle; a love for the outdoors; and a sense of stewardship toward the land and resources.

Day hikes and overnight hikes take place weekdays in June, July, and August. For a youth summer hike schedule or to register your child for a hike, contact the Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment at 907-822-3575. Transportation is available for youth that need a ride on a first come, first served basis.
