Welcome to the Fairbanks District Office

Map showing the area managed by the Fairbanks District Office in northern AlaskaBLM's Fairbanks District Office manages 42.6 million acres of public lands in northern Alaska. The district is divided into three field offices, all located in the district office building in Fairbanks. The Arctic Field Office manages lands on the North Slope. The Eastern Interior Field Office manages public lands in east-central Alaska, while the Central Yukon Field Office covers the north- central interior of Alaska, including most of the Dalton Highway area. 


In the Spotlight

  • Please note: The Fairbanks District Office has changed its street address to 222 University Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99709 to help the public and emergency responders locate the building. This is also our new mailing address and it applies to all the field offices and other staff located in the Fairbanks District Office Building. Our physical location in Fairbanks has not changed.
