Red Devil Mine - CERCLA Administrative Record #2: RI/FS

The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liabilities Act (CERCLA) requires that agencies make available to the public an Administrative Record (AR) of those documents that form the basis for selection of a response action at a site. The Administrative Record provides the basis for public participation and involvement, and provides a record for judicial review by documenting the government deliberative process.

BLM initiated a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) of the Red Devil Mine in 2008. The documents included in this Administrative Record are for the RI/FS. Documents concerning other investigations and cleanup actions at the Red Devil Mine, including past CERCLA response actions (Administrative Record #1) can be accessed from our Red Devil Mine homepage. 

The official hard copy Administrative Record for the Red Devil Mine Site RI/FS is available for public viewing during normal business hours at the Anchorage Field Office Public Room.

An electronic copy of the CERCLA Administrative Record is indexed below.  The documents are listed in order by date; most recent first.  Document date format is YYYY-MM-DD.
